Bees, birds, beetles, bats and other pollinators will be the focus of a conference that will soon have the Brooklyn Park area buzzing.
It can be helpful to those who work in land management, conservation, public policy and planning, and its organizers expect it to be a sellout occasion.
The attendees at the symposium will be given an opportunity to sit in on an assortment of presentations and question and answer periods, all while they meet and connect with others who share their interest in making sure that pollinators will thrive well into the future. Seating is limited, so anyone who would like to make sure they have a seat for the summit is advised to register early.
Check-in for the day will open at 7:30 am, and a light breakfast will be served. After this, the program of presenters will begin, and there will also be resource tables filled with information for the delegates to gather. The goal for the occasion is for all of the participants to walk away with a greater understanding of how they can design plantings and properties that are pollinator friendly and make maintenance choices that reduce the amount of pesticide used. Pamphlets, information packages, and promotional Pens are just a few of the items that can be provided by a printer to help make sure an event like this meets its educational goals.
The ‘Best Practices for Pollinators’ summit will be held this year on March 7. St. Anthony’s Silverwood Visitors Center has been chosen as the site for the event.
