Twin Cities nonprofit to host Bloomington tourney

The Angel Foundation will be holding a golfing contest in July at the Minnesota Valley Country Club in Bloomington.

The Angels & Eagles 20th Annual Golf Tournament is a summer fundraiser where people can compete while helping a local organization support cancer-impacted families. Those who register for the tourney will get a BBQ lunch, swag bag, golf cart, and invitation to a patio reception. Guests can either register as an individual or team of four. Sponsorships from $500 to $10,000 are available for companies interested in their Logo Design being portrayed on swag Bags and event signage.

The Angel Foundation is a charitable group founded in 2001 that helps adults with cancer live stable lives by providing financial assistance and support. The non-profit has created multiple programs for local cancer patients, including the Facing Cancer Together program and the Emergency Financial Assistance program. The organization’s current president is Dave Becker, and the program coordinator is Madi Schneider.

The Angels & Eagles 20th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on July 18 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Individuals can pay $375 to participate, while regular foursomes may pay $1,500. Fun Packages are available for $50, which include two mulligans (second attempts at a shot) and a drink ticket. People may become a dedicated team for $2,000 to be featured in the golf cart program and the event’s Signs.
