Science-fiction convention coming to Bloomington

The Hilton in Bloomington will be hosting a convention this February that welcomes fans of the science fiction genre to participate in a variety of themed activities.

MarsCon is a family-friendly sci-fi convention that boasts a wide array of events that guests can enjoy. This year, activities will include a book exchange, art show, and karaoke. Several live performances will be held at the convention, featuring demonstrations by the Saber Legion and Mystic Dawn Amtgard Boffer. Attendees can also view trailers for upcoming films and look at props from franchises like Harry Potter and Star Trek.

Many special guests will visit the convention, including Kathryn Sullivan, Darla Eklund, and Parke Kunkle. There will also be live musical performances throughout the event, with concerts from artists such as Michael William Hunter, Marc with a C, and the Great Luke Ski. Organizations that plan events such as this can use poster printing services to make ads that help get people interested in attending.

MarsCon will be held from February 28th to March 1st. Admission to the event will cost $70 for teens and adults at the door, while children under 12 will pay $35. Kids under the age of six can attend the event for free. Anybody who wants to stay at the Hilton for MarsCon 2020 can book a hotel room for $115 per night plus taxes.
