Pet rescue to host gala in Bloomington

Safe Hands Rescue will be organizing an elegant event in April at the Mall of America in Bloomington.

The Fur Ball Gala is an annual fundraiser where people can show their support for dogs in need. The cost of admission will include appetizers, dinner, live entertainment, and an opportunity to meet with puppies from Safe Hands Rescue. Those interested in helping the organizers with the gala can donate items to its silent and live auctions. Acceptable submissions include limo rides, new phones, major event tickets, and items for pets.

Safe Hands Rescue is a non-profit group that primarily serves the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. The organization wishes to improve the lives of companion animals by rescuing and rehoming animals to loving families. The rescue has helped reduce euthanasia rates at its first partner shelter and has found new homes for more than 5,000 animals. People can volunteer for the group by assisting it with coordinating adoptions and taking photographs. The organization also accepts help with event planning, social media management, and grooming pets.

The gala will be on Saturday, April 15 and will cost $150 per person. Companies and individuals who wish to offer additional financial support to Safe Hands Rescue can donate online. Pet rescues similar to this may promote their fundraising dinners to the community by utilizing flyer printing services.
