The Embassy Suites Hotel in Bloomington will be hosting a seminar this August that will discuss the impact of nutrition on mental health.
Counselors, nurses, and dietitians are encouraged to attend the upcoming Food and Mood seminar, where experts will educate guests about the ways nutrition can influence a person’s mental health. Many important topics will be discussed at the event, including the effects of sugar and stimulants, what nutritional imbalances contribute toward depression, and the relationship between digestion and stress. Organizers who put together informational seminars like this can use printing services to create effective advertisements for the event.
The speaker for the Food and Mood seminar will be Kathleen D. Zamperini, who has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and education. She also earned a degree in holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Zamperini has over 30 years of experience working with people who suffer from depression and anxiety and has a passion for helping clients learn about the importance of nutrition in mental health.
The Food and Mood seminar will be held on Friday, August 28th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. General admission to the educational event will cost people $249.99 each, though those who purchase their tickets before August 8th can pay $219.99 instead. The seminar will offer discounts to people who are students or with the military.
