Mayo Clinic to organize program in Bloomington

The Mayo Clinic will be holding a conference in Bloomington about hematology and oncology at the Radisson Blu Ball of America.

The 19th Annual Mayo Clinic Hematology Review is a live and online event where medical professionals such as nurses and physician assistants can learn more about hematology. After finishing the conference, attendees should know how to identify investigational therapeutic regimens and describe the results of clinical trials on disorders like lymphoma and leukemia. The program will also compare recent studies in the field of hematology.

The event will start off with a continental breakfast and an introduction provided by Thomas Habermann. Several presentations will occur at the hematology review by medical professionals such as Naseema Gangat, Sameer Parikh, and Stephen Ansell. Each discussion will have a designated time for questions from the audience. Specific topics at the conference include bone marrow failure, chronic myelogenous leukemia, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

The hematology program will be held on January 29 from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets to both the live version and the online stream will cost attendees $250. A full schedule of the conference can be found on the event’s website. People may also visit the site to view the Virtual Exhibit Hall.
