Hot Cider Hustle heading to Bloomington

Those interested in running a half marathon can head over to the Normandale Lake Bandshell in Bloomington this October to participate in the Hot Cider Hustle.

This is an event in which people enter a half marathon to help give financial support for those with intellectual disabilities. The money raised will go towards providing both children and adults with special sports competitions and personal training. Those who participate in the race will be given apple cider and caramel apples once they complete the course, in addition to a commemorative finisher mug.

Businesses can show their support for the cause by sponsoring the event. There are numerous options available, such as event day exhibiting and product donations. Companies that attend marathons like this can make promotional Pens to distribute to people at the race.

There are volunteering opportunities for people who wish to help out during the event. Volunteers will be given a free shirt for their assistance. Anybody interested in becoming a volunteer can apply online or email the organizers for more details.

The Hot Cider Hustle will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 8:30 am to noon. People who want to run in the half marathon can register for $79.99. There will also be a run/walk held at the event that costs $39.99 to join. Everybody who finishes during the half marathon will receive a finisher medal, while awards are given to the top three runners.
