The Hilton MSP Airport in Bloomington will be holding the 10th annual Twin Cities' Doctor Who Convention in January.
Fans of the sci-fi series Doctor Who can meet with other show lovers during an upcoming multi-day convention. The event will have many panels, such as Mental Health Portrayed in Doctor Who, Real World Applications of Doctor Who, and the David Tennant Fan Panel. Several special guests will appear at the convention, including Sophie Aldred, T. Aaron Cisco, and Mary Wilke. A charity auction for the Geek Partnership Society will also be held at the event.
Artists interested in promoting and selling their work at the event can participate in the convention's art show. Those who submit their pieces to the show can set their starting bids and choose a quick sale price. All art portrayed at the convention must relate to the Doctor Who fandom, and the submissions should be appropriate for family audiences. The organizers of the conference will take a 15% commission on each sale at the auction.
The Doctor Who event will be held from Friday, January 20 to Sunday, January 22. VIP passes for the convention are $180, and adult admission will cost $75.
