The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Normandale Lake Bandshell soon.
The series Thursday Night Blockbusters, created by the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, will be hosting a classical music night. The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra will be featured as the leading performer at this public event. There will be food that attendees can purchase at the bandshell from the restaurant Reverie. Organizers for concerts like this can use poster printing to make ads for the community to raise interest in the event.
Manny Laureano will direct the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra during their performance at the bandshell. The band has been playing since 1963 and has performed at venues throughout Minnesota, including the Bloomington Center for the Arts and the Gideon Ives Auditorium. Those who are interested in supporting the orchestra can donate money online or send Checks to their office.
Anybody who would like to attend the Thursday Night Blockbusters series can visit the Normandale Lake Bandshell on August 8th at 7:00 pm. Food will be served at 6:30 pm. Guests can bring blankets or chairs from home to sit on during the performance.
There is no cost to listen to the orchestra, and all ages can attend the concert. The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra has their upcoming concerts posted online for those who wish to view more performances.
