The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) will organize a competitive puzzle activity in Bloomington to support the local autism community.
The Jigsaw Puzzle Competition is an event where people can compete in teams of up to four to see who can complete their puzzles the quickest. The AuSM has partnered with PuzzleTwist and Games by James to create the tournament. Participants can either complete their puzzles in person or virtually. There are advanced and beginner brackets for the contest, and there will be a separate division for 500-piece and 1,000-piece puzzles.
Companies can support the AuSM by sponsoring the puzzle competition. Businesses that purchase a Bronze Sponsorship will be featured on the event’s website, displayed on the venue’s jumbotron, and have their names added to the rules sheet on each table in the contest. Organizations that buy a Gold Sponsorship will be recognized during the welcome messages for the event and have their link added to AuSM’s website. Businesses only interested in having a resource table at the contest can pay $500.
The AuSM’s Jigsaw Puzzle Competition will be held on November 5 at the Mall of America. The 500-piece division will last from 9:00 am to noon, and the 1,000-piece division is from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The cost is $60 per team. Organizations in charge of puzzle competitions like this may use banner printing to increase local awareness of their tournaments.
