Bloomington club to host annual egg hunting festival

This April, the Bloomington Optimists Club in Minnesota will be holding their annual Spring Egg Hunt at the Normandale Lake Bandshell.

The Spring Egg Hunt is an event where families can come together and participate in fun games with the rest of the community. Each year the Bloomington Optimists Club sponsors the festival and uses tactics like flyer printing to spread information about the featured activities. The Spring Egg Hunt will include live music performances, a balloon artist, and other kid-friendly artistic attractions. The egg hunting event will give children the opportunity to search the bandshell for 9,000 eggs.

The Bloomington Optimists Club has been supporting the Spring Egg Hunt for over twenty-five years. In addition to the providing the community with entertainment, the festival will also feature city service representatives who will have booths set up to educate attendees about upcoming events and other relevant information. The City of Bloomington’s Parks and Recreation, fire, and police departments will be among the organizations with booths during the festival.

Anybody who is interested in attending the Spring Egg Hunt can come to the Normandale Lake Bandshell at 10:00 am on April 20th. All activities are free to the public. While people of all ages can come to the festival, only children who are eight or younger can participate in the egg hunting activity. The egg hunt will begin at 11:00 pm.
