Women in and around Sylvan Lake who are looking to take their careers to new heights will want to put a reminder in their phones, as a networking gathering is set to kick off.
The Women’s Entrepreneur Networking & Headshots gathering is coming to nearby Pontiac this November in an attempt to bring the community together and provide women with a spark that can lead to a successful entrepreneurial career. Organizers hope to use the event to help each attendee find inspiration through the connections they make.
The atmosphere will be geared toward allowing women to step away from the stress of daily life while building friendships with others who can empathize with their experiences. In addition to these positive conversations, women who attend can get professional portraits taken, which they can use to update their LinkedIn or website headshot photo. Print shops can also help add these portraits to promotional items like Business Cards for future networking events.
Each woman who attends can leave with new, beneficial connections and a renewed sense of purpose. Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly, and online registration is open.
LMP Collective, located on West Huron Street in nearby Pontiac, is hosting the networking event. It is set for Sunday, November 1 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Reservations are free online.
