Oktoberfest-themed experience all set near Sylvan Lake

An opportunity to indulge in and learn more about German culture is coming to the Sylvan Lake area this October, with a focus on beer and bratwursts.

The Beer and Brats event, which is being presented by the Auburn Hills Downtown Development Authority, will be opening its gates to interested individuals who want to celebrate their German heritage or learn more about a new culture through its cuisine. The experience will provide guests with a taste of Germany, with authentic German food available to try.

Attendees will get to take in live entertainment while sampling German fare, including bratwurst, currywurst, warm pretzels, and Bavarian cabbage, with food trucks supplementing the options. Organizers of this sort of celebration can expand their marketing reach with banner printing, with the Banners capturing attention from passersby and promoting the event and its sponsors.

German-style beer will also be available for purchase to attendees 21 and over. The experience is modeled after the Bavarian seasonal celebration of Oktoberfest. Each ticket includes a meal, a pretzel, and the alcoholic beverage of choice, with non-alcoholic beverages also an option.

Public Square, located at 3388 Auburn Road in neighboring Auburn Hills, is set to play host for the community event. It starts at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 9, and tickets cost $28.52 per person online.
