A healing workshop is in the works for the Sylvan Lake community, which will provide a space for those in need to learn how to handle and work through difficult emotions.
The Reclaiming Your Story: Transforming Grief and Stress workshop will start in less than two weeks. Area residents are encouraged to attend to learn how to manage the grief and stress of losing a friend or loved one. The event will guide participants through activities like writing, movement, and nourishment.
Participants will enjoy access to a breathing and meditation workshop to move grief and stress through and out of the body. Melanie Samuels will lead a food workshop that will provide insight into dietary changes attendees can make for better health, and how good health can be conducing to managing the grieving process. Business Cards are a fantastic way for keynote speakers and leaders at such events to connect with others and build brand awareness.
Upon arrival at the workshop, attendees will be greeted with coffee or tea. They are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing for the stretching and yoga sessions that form part of the day.
The Sylvan Table will host the workshop on Saturday, August 10, with registration starting at 9:30 AM. Tickets for the workshop cost $147 per person, and guests can RSVP online.
