Sylvan Lake residents seeking to support a worthy cause are encouraged to avoid making plans next month, as a fundraising event is set to kick off in the region.
The Fourth Annual Burn Bright Sister Fundraiser will start in a few weeks. It will bring community members and like-minded individuals together to support women. The event aims to provide guidance and support for women attempting to overcome setbacks in their professional and personal lives. The fundraiser will provide a setting for attendees to celebrate women and support the non-profit’s mission.
The event will include a yoga and stretching session led by area yogi Sam Arin Rodd. Attendees will also enjoy access to an open bar for refreshments and alcoholic beverages. DJ Nicholas Hardy will supply music and entertainment for guests at the fundraiser. Banner printing is a fantastic way to welcome attendees to fundraising events like this.
Attendees will have an opportunity to donate by becoming Project 2 Sponsors. Sponsorship provides resources to women in the community so that they can take steps to become their best selves. Proceeds from the event will fund the fifth year of the uplifting project.
The Sylvan Lake Community Center will host the event on Friday, May 10th, starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 10:00 pm. Tickets cost $100 per attendee and can be reserved online.
