A fitness series is being planned for Sylvan Lake residents to promote health and wellness and bring the community together, and interested parties are invited to join.
The Functional Fitness Series with Debbie is offering Sylvan Lake residents a learning experience to elevate their movement and fitness skills. The class aims to help attendees become stronger and get more from life. Debbie will provide guests with a warm and welcoming environment, leading them through an empowering and upbeat fitness session.
The series is geared toward seniors in the community who want to maintain their health and independence as they age. Students will gain functional strength to lift and carry groceries, get out of chairs, and enjoy walks in the park. Flyer printing is an excellent way to promote such events by placing the printed materials on bulletin boards to raise awareness.
Interested parties of all fitness levels are invited to sign up. The sessions will blend exercises and movements used in daily life to help participants improve mobility and stability. Guests will need exercise bands, a small exercise ball, and weights to participate.
The workout session will be held at the Sylvan Lake Community Center on Wednesday, June 4 at 10:00 AM. Interested parties can make reservations online and pay at the event. Sessions are $5 per person.
