Festive tree lighting to brighten Sylvan Lake for the holidays

Residents and holiday lovers will want to block out their schedules next month as Sylvan Lake conducts its 5th Annual Tree Lighting to kick off the 2023 holiday season.

The Sylvan Lake Parks and Recreation department is planning the event to add brightness and cheer to the town for the holiday celebrations. Guests from the surrounding area are welcome to join the celebrations as the town lights the holiday tree and a menorah.

Guests can expect refreshments in the form of hot cocoa and coffee for a comfortable viewing experience. Holiday carols are also on the docket, and attendees are encouraged to bring singing voices and positivity to kick off the holidays in style. Flyer printing is a marvelous way to create awareness of such events in the community.

Interested parties are encouraged to dress for the weather to ensure a comfortable experience during the lighting of the holiday tree and menorah.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 3, and will be held at the Sylvan Lake Community Center in town. There is no fee to attend, and the tree will be lit promptly at 6:00 PM. Guests and visitors should arrive early to ensure time to witness the lighting and festivities.
