Grand Blanc rolls out summer event

The Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual “Roll On In” celebration this August.

This event is a part of the Back to the Bricks Rolling Cruise. The event will feature a showcase of classic automobiles, community leaders, and live entertainment.

This year marks a milestone, as the Chamber has been designated a secondary Mega Site for the official cruise route. The recognition adds a new level of engagement, including expanded attractions, vendor booths, sponsor exhibits, and DJ sets. The event will honor Grand Marshal Edward Benning, who is the CEO of the Mass Transportation Authority. Public officials expected to appear include Grand Blanc Mayor John Creasey, Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley, and representatives from local law enforcement.

Attendees can expect an evening packed with vintage vehicles, food trucks, raffles, and merchandise from Back to the Bricks. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Scott Kool, and local businesses will host vendor displays at both the high school and the secondary Mega Site, located at Saginaw and Hemphill.

Supported by long-time sponsor Insight Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience (IINN), the two-day Mega Site experience aims to foster community pride while celebrating Michigan’s automotive heritage.

For hosts coordinating events of this size, professional Print shops can support them with printed promotional materials.

The event will take place Wednesday, August 13 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Road. Admission is free.
