Annual run to support community health initiatives

The London Strong Foundation will host the 8th Annual “Set Your Dreams” 5K Run or Walk this July.

This annual event, founded in memory of London Eisenbeis, raises awareness and funding for the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the community.

Early signup prices are available through July 7th, are $15 for the Kitten Kaboodle, $30 for the 5K (cotton shirt included), and $35 for a tech t-shirt upgrade. From July 8th to 17th, prices rise to $35 and $40 for the 5 K. From July 18th to 24th, the final registration window, fees increase to $40 for the 5K and $45 with a tech shirt. Shirt availability is not assured after July 17th.

Virtual participants can register under the same pricing tiers and timeframes, with an additional $5 Mailing fee for race packets. For parking and additional information, attendees can visit the All Events listing.

The event begins with on-site activities and packet pickup at 4:30 pm. The Kitten Kaboodle will start at 6 pm, followed by the 5K run at 6:30 pm and the 5K walk at 6:33 pm.

Runs like this one may have multiple start and finish lines, and organizers may employ the use of banner printing to identify these different areas.

The in-person race takes place on July 24th, starting at 6 pm at Creasey Bicentennial Park, 1505 East Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
