Herbalism workshop explores spices in Fenton
Fenton residents with an interest in herbalism will want to make a note, as a local workshop will teach the techniques for making spices from home.
The Spice Rack Herbalism workshop, which will be presented by Hawthorn and Violet Herbal Apothecary and Naturopathic Services, is adding the spice to life in Fenton in a few weeks, giving participants the skills and knowledge to create fresh spices for cooking from home. The event will focus on options like sage, cinnamon, turmeric, thyme, garlic, ginger, and vanilla.
The instructor will also shed light on the medicinal and health benefits of these herbs and how participants can mix them into recipes to improve health outcomes while adding flavor. Students will know which herbs and spices to reach for when experiencing headaches, low energy, and the common cold. Brochure printing can be an excellent medium for providing recipes, instructions, and additional information to students at such events.
The organizers have extensive experience working with herbs, and the instructor will be happy to teach which herbs can be substituted in a pinch. This can be a great way for Fenton residents to pick up a new hobby during the holidays.
The course will be hosted by Hawthorn and Violet in Fenton, and is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, from 1:30 to 3:15 PM. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in-store or online.
