Fenton runners seeking a change of scenery are in luck this June, as a local orchard has announced it will host a 5K run on its grounds.
The Tractor Trail 5K has opened online registration to runners in the Fenton area who wish to participate in one of the unique running events of the year. The course will take participants through the grounds of Spicer Orchards, with runners following the Tractor Trail that is most famous for the farm’s autumn hayrides.
The course will also lead runners past berry bushes, apple trees, antique farm equipment, and through lush forests. It is sure to be a memorable running experience with a refreshing reward awaiting at the finish line. With banner printing, organizers can promote the event and its sponsors while providing a memorable way to greet runners at the finish line.
Runners will get to refuel and relax after finishing the course. Participants who are 21 and over can enjoy a hard cider, while younger participants can refuel with a sweet cider. The race will be professionally managed and timed. Runners will receive a commemorative race bib for their achievement.
The 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 13th, starting at 9:00 AM. It will be held at Spicer Orchards in Fenton. Registration is open online and costs $42.50 per participant.
