Crafting course offers new skills in Fenton
Fenton residents looking to learn new crafting skills are in luck next month, as a workshop will teach attendees the steps to create elderberry syrup.
The Elderberry Syrup Making Workshop is set to welcome guests in Fenton soon, providing instructions and tips for creating and harnessing the healing benefits of the end product. The syrup is a well-known remedy for individuals who begin to experience the first signs of a viral infection. Students will have an alternative to store-bought elderberry syrup and gain the knowledge to create their own at home.
The class will be led by the crafting experts at Hawthorn and Violet Herbal Apothecary and Naturopathic Services. The techniques demonstrated will help participants learn how to create a natural health remedy that retains a tasty flavor for the best result. Brochure printing can help share more information with students at such workshops to help them retain more information and continue learning at home.
Students will make a batch of the syrup and learn how to bottle it up for storage. Each person will receive a bottle of elderberry syrup to take home. The final phase of the workshop will highlight the best herbs to pair with the syrup.
The workshop will be held at Hawthorn and Violet Apothecary in Fenton on Friday, October 3rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Tickets cost $25 and are available online.
