Riparian-themed fundraiser to showcase local beer and wines

Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) works to protect Lake St. Clair and the Clinton River. The public is invited to support its efforts by attending a Clawson area function taking place as the summer draws to a close.

A varieties of area wineries, breweries, and food service establishments that believe in the cause have chosen to get involved with the tasting event. Beer and wines will be poured for sampling, and each ticket will entitle the bearer to enjoy up to 12 pours.

Along with the beverages, the guests will be able to sample the dishes on offer from the food vendors, and the works form a variety of local craftspeople and artisans will be up for sale. As well, the attendees will be able to shop from a popup-style booth that will have a variety of Promotional Products printed with the CRWC Logo Design.

All of the monies raised through this fundraiser will be used by CRWC to help fund its programming and other initiatives. The guests will have an opportunity to learn about its efforts and what they can do in their own lives to make a difference.

This special fundraising event, which will show some love to local waterways, will be held on September 12. Yates Cider Mill will be the venue for the celebration.
