Clawson is a community that loves its companion animals, and these furry, feathery and scaly friends will be the guests of honor for a festival planned with them in mind.
The city’s Fall Claws N’ Paws festival is an event planned as a community builder, and it also celebrates compassion for animals. The monies that are raised during the activity will be passed along to local rescue groups, helping to support pet adoption.
The four-hour long gatherings will offer hayrides courtesy of Clawson DPW, and at dusk, the Clawson Fire Department will light a bonfire. A bake sale and pet-walk-a-thon are both in the works, and costume contests, photo ops, live performances, lectures, and inflatables will be in the mix as well. Food can be purchased, and free donuts and cider will be on offer. There will be opportunities to adopt a new companion animal and learn how to lend a hand with one of the local rescues, and a pop-up market is also on the agenda.
Fall festivals are often hosted outdoors, which means they may call for custom canopies, tenting and other booth decor. This can be prepared by a banner printing company, which will also be able to offer Graphic Design Services on site.
