Clawson households who are getting ready for the season ahead may want to save space in their schedule for a brand new pop-up yard sale.
Royal Oak Garden Club is pleased and proud to bring its inaugural Yard Sale fundraiser to the local community, and everyone is encouraged to drop by and do some browsing and buying. Set to take place at Unity of Royal Oak, it will welcome the public for six hours.
Shoppers will be able to browse through many tables of “new to you" items, and the proceeds will be used to help fund an assortment of beautification projects undertaken by the Club, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Along with supporting the activity by engaging in some retail therapy, the public can get involved by making a donation of gently used items. These may be dropped off at Unity of Royal Oak from 8:00 am until 8:30 am on the day of the sale. Any not sold will be donated to Grace Centers of Hope.
Not-for-profit groups often count on fundraisers to help them meet their expenses. A poster printing company can assist by supplying a wide range of marketing materials.
The first Royal Oak Garden Club Yard Sale will open at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 6. The location will be 2500 Crooks Road.
