Clawson will soon welcome the return of one of its well-loved events, which may be a perfect way to spend a lazy spring or summer day.
The Saturday Clawson Market will once again connect both residents and visitors with area small businesses. It will be held in the city's downtown at the corner of Mile Road and Main Street, and seven sessions have been planned.
People can browse through the vendor stalls and tables, and there will be a variety of activities to enjoy as well. The markets are expected to draw a large number of attendees.
The organizers have created an application system for anyone wishing to book a space in the events. They can choose to reserve one for the entire season, a single day, or as many as they wish. The full season booking fee is $100, while single days are $20. A special discount is available for non-profit groups. Markets and other locally focused events often make use of the services available at flyer printing companies to effectively market their gathering.
The first Saturday Clawson Market for 2026 will run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on May 16, after which they run on selected Saturday until August 15. The installment set for July 25 will be running in tandem with Clawson’s Cinema in the Street event.
