Cross stitch class on offer near Clawson

Whether it is counted or follows a stamped pattern, cross stitch is a hobby that is enjoyed by many. An afternoon workshop has been planned for the Clawson area that will offer an introduction to the techniques needed to craft a simple design, and each participant can choose the one they wish to create.

A total of 10 different patterns have been prepared for the occasion, and each participant can choose the one they wish to make. Upon arrival for the activity, they will receive a kit that includes the cotton weave cloth, hoop, and other materials needed to complete the project, and instruction will be provided.

As they work, the students in the class can chat and get to know one another, and fun and laughter will be the order of the day. Each participant will also receive a beer to enjoy while they craft, and even if they are not able to complete their project during the two-hour long workshop, they will walk away with the skills needed to finish it up at home.

The organizer of this activity noted that it is suitable for both novices and experienced cross stitchers, and everyone who is interested is welcome. Copies of the printed instructions and other items for an event like this can be provided by professional Stationery printers.

Ferndale’s Detroit Fleat will be hosting the Cross Stitching with Caitlin class on February 17. Its start time has been set as 12:00 pm.
