This July, downtown Clawson will be setting up an outdoor cinema, making it the 17th year that this activity has been on offer in the community.
Cinema in the Street will once again be bringing free fun to the city’s downtown, and its business community has shown plenty of support for the initiative. The movie will be screened starting at dusk, and there will other excitement to be had before it starts.
Along with the movie, the public can enjoy karaoke and corn hole, and a frozen T-shirt contest is also in the works. Anyone who would like to purchase a drink to sip on during the show can head to the social district, and an art exhibit is also on the agenda. The film will be selected from a list of suggestions submitted by area residents, which have previously included titles like E.T., Ghostbusters and Mrs. Doubtfire.
Organizing a public event like this may include selecting suitable marketing materials. A poster printing company will have various options available for its clients to choose from.
The 2025 Cinema in the Street will be welcoming Clawson residents on Saturday, July 19. Anyone who wants to find out more or learn about its sponsorship and onscreen advertising program may do so through web listing or by contacting ddadirector@cityofclawson.com. The activity will get started at 6:00 pm.
