Clawson sets schedule for 4th of July fun

The Fourth of July is not far away, and in Clawson, that means a special day of fun is fast approaching.

The city has built a schedule of activities that it hopes will bring the community together in a spirit of friendship, and the excitement will run throughout the day. It will open with a free fun run as well as the 5K Freedom Run, and after this, the public can enjoy the rest of the celebration.

After the run, families can head to Clawson Park to sign up for the children’s parade. An arts and crafts fair will showcase area creative talent, and the Freedom Festival will be open from the morning until the early evening. Food trucks will be on hand, and at dusk, the crowd will be treated to a fireworks display that will launch from Clawson Park.

Communities all across the USA celebrate the 4th of July in their own way. Banner printing and other services that can make these events feel even more special can be obtained at area printers.
