Clawson prepares for its Halloween spooks

Plans are now in place for Clawson’s annual Trick-or-Treat Trail.

The Trick-or-Treat Trail is more-or-less a typical Halloween event. Children go dressed in costumes with Bags or containers for candy. With the supervision of an adult or caregiver, they trick-or-treat across the stations set up on the wood chip trail. The stations are provided by various local businesses and groups, and donuts and cider are usually provided at the end of the trail in the pavilion.

Since the event takes place in the evening at a time when the sun sets sooner, children are strongly advised to bring a flashlight or something that shines.

Flyers for in previous years’ events show a colorful logo printing of the name of the event, along with some simple graphic design of pumpkins, clouds, and a sun that is half-dark and half-light yellow.

The Trick-or-Treat Trail takes place at the Clawson City Park from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm around Halloween, although an exact date for this year’s event has not yet been publicized, so locals will need to stay tuned to the City of Clawson’s webpage for the 2018 date. The event is free of charge. If anyone has any questions or needs more information about the event, they are advised to contact the Clawson City Hall through the webpage or by phone.
