Clawson area to hold crop-a-thon style fundraiser

When it comes to police work, K9 units are out in the field every day, and an upcoming event will help to raise money for equipment that will help to keep them safe.

A weekend of crafting with companions old and new is in the works for the Clawson area, which has been organized by the Professional Law Enforcement Association Foundation. It will run for two days, and space at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Troy Auburn Hills has been booked for the activity.

The registrants will be able to enjoy the energy that comes from working alongside others while they create, and all kinds of crafts will be in the mix. The registration fee covers admission as well as a 6-foot workspace. Friday and Saturday dinners are included, as is Saturday’s lunch, and everyone will receive a goody bag stuffed with Promotional Products and other premiums.

To thank the crafters for their support, they will also be treated to some entertainment. Other perks such as massages, raffle draws, and an opportunity to shop from the vendor tables set up may be included as well. Accommodation packages at the venue may be available, but they will need to be reserved ahead of time.

These two days of cropping and crafting will welcome local creatives on March 1 and 2. The location can be found at 850 Tower Drive in Troy.
