Clawson kids who love making discoveries about their fine feathered friends may find that an upcoming activity will offer them a chance to learn that is also a whole lot of fun.
Sterling heights Nature Center has used the alphabet as inspiration for its “Bird is the Word” discovery day. It will be an outdoor activity, and once registered, families can drop by at any time during the hours when the event will be taking place.
Each child who Signs up for the function will receive a map of the Nature Centre, which they will use as a guide. They will be walking along its unpaved trails, and there will be discovery stations set up for them to explore along the way. Each will offer a hands-on activity, and the kids will even be able to learn using natural materials such as nests and feathers. Every young attendee must be accompanied by an adult, and both Stirling Heights residents and residents of the surrounding communities are welcome.
A printing services company will be able to offer a variety of printed materials to help make this type of function a hit with the families taking part. It can craft maps as well as other items, such as promotional Pens, to give to each child.
This tribute to the feathered members of the community will be on offer on April 10. The Nature Center is located at 42700 Utica Road, and it will run from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
