For families with a child in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), a Clawson area event may help to make their path a little bit easier.
For one evening in late summer, English Gardens in Royal Oak will be transformed into a giant outdoor celebration. While the guests enjoy the warm breeze and welcoming atmosphere, they will be supporting care for babies and children at area hospitals.
The function will offer ticketholders opportunities to mingle, and a silent auction filled with special experiences and Corporate Gifts is on the agenda. Light bites will be served, and live music will add to the overall occasion.
The organizers of the evening will be working with the local business community to ensure the fundraiser will be successful, and a vendor area will be set up for the event. Wine tasting will round out the function, and everyone will be invited to pre-order bottles on site to pick up later. A portion of the proceeds from the celebration will be donated to The Julia Foundation, a local charity supporting families with children in intensive care.
This event that will make life a little easier for families going through a difficult time will be held on August 20, and will be open to attendees from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
