Learning how to save a life is about to get a lot easier for those who call Clawson home, and everyone is encouraged to register for the event.
Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital offers the public a variety of learning opportunities throughout the year, and one of these will introduce the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the public. It will cover adults, infants, and children, and the attendees need to be at least 11 years of age.
The participants will learn what to do when someone is choking, and the techniques taught may be helpful to parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone else who feels it could be helpful to them. While it is not a certification class, proof of attendance will be provided upon request. Information about the function and its guidelines will be emailed out to the registrants ahead of time, and the class will run for two hours.
CPR may help someone save a life without taking up much of their time to learn. A brochure printing company will have a variety of ways to keep the public informed about what learning opportunities are on offer to them in their home area.
This CPR class for friends and family has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 24, and it will begin at 6:00 pm. Anyone who would like to register is welcome to do so by visiting the organizer's website.
