Classic cars rev up in Clawson

The Lions Club in Clawson, Michigan will be hosting its 20th Car Show “Down on Main Street” at the end of the month.

The Show will stretch about 14 miles on Main Street. Over 400 entries have been made up to this point. However, some of the entries are antiques, bicycles, boats, and helicopters.

The Lions Club car show will no doubt involve a lot of poster printing and banner printing, and will feature Posters of the car show and trophy truck Banners. There will be some flyer printing involved as well, as many of the cars are sure to have one in their windshields. The bright yellow registration tent will be selling some other Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, along with treats like popcorn.

Nearby shops and street vendors will also be cutting some significant deals on their products. All proceeds will go to various local charities, such as Leader Dog for the Blind, the Beaumont Silent Children, and Eversight, Michigan.

Applicants must register by filling out the entry form and paying a $15 or $20 fee, depending on whether they sign up before July 31. Those wanting to be sponsors must fill out a form and indicate how much they will be donating.

The Clawson Lions Club Car Show is free to the public. The date is August 11, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
