Beer lovers to welcome fall with Oktoberfest

A celebration that will offer the feel of a traditional German Oktoberfest will welcome the change of seasons, and this Clawson area event will be an in-person experience.

For two days, Sterling Heights' Carpathia Club will be transformed into a traditional German beer garden, and both indoor and outdoor seating will be available for enjoyment of the guests. While all ages are invited to take part, guests aged 21 and up will be able to sample the beers on tap, and this is just the start of the fun set to be on offer.

While the ticket holders take in one of the live performances in the works for the weekend, they will be able to fill up on German food favorites such as strudel, wurst, potato salad and sauerkraut. The beer, including a selection of five Oktoberfest varieties, will be flowing from five taps, and on both days, the celebration will continue on until the late light hours.

One of the tools at the disposal of those planning an event like this is the services of a banner printing company. It can be counted on to supply a wide variety of decor and will be able to work within most budgets.

The Carpathia Oktoberfest is preparing to bring a taste of Germany to the area on October 1 and 2. Admission is $5 for those age 21 and up, while anyone age 20 and under will be admitted at no charge.
