The Royal Oak Restaurant Association will be hosting the Michigan Craft Beer Stroll later this month.
The event will be all over the downtown Royal Oak area, three miles from Clawson, so there is no one set location, but several that will be participating. This will give patrons the opportunity to sample beer and food from the highest quality of Royal Oak breweries and restaurants. As a result, it is the sort of event likely to entail brochure printing.
The numerous restaurants and beer halls will be providing samplings of their best dishes. Ale Mary’s Beer Hall will be providing its pumpkin cake, while Fifth Avenue will have its loaded mac and cheese available. At 526 Main, BBQ ribs with sauce will be served, and HopCat will be serving buffalo rolls. These are just a few of the several that will be participating in the Beer Stroll and contributing to the beer and foodie celebration. Every style from Detroit, Chicago, to Sicilian dishes will be served at one location or another during the event.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 13 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. Tickets range from $40 to $50 and can be purchased through Eventbrite, or through Pizza N Brews for $15 to $20. The event is for those 21 years of age and older. Funds from alcohol purchases will be donated to the Detroit Art Initiative.
