A local hero will soon be hanging up his helmet, putting away his boots, and beginning his retirement days, and residents of Saco are welcome to be among those who come to a celebration of his career and the service he supplied to his community.
Bob Conlogue is a firefighter and paramedic, and has been working in the field in Scarborough for the past 27 years. He has made the decision to retire, and a party planned for Duffy’s Tavern and Grill in Old Orchard Beach will give him a festive send off, surrounded by friends, family, colleagues, and other well-wishers.
Members of Scarborough Professional Firefighters local 3894, as well as other local fire departments and the public are all invited to come to the celebration of Conlogue’s lengthy career. There will be time for the guests to mingle, share stories, or just enjoy the atmosphere of the evening.
Tickets for the occasion are currently being sold, and they are priced at $20 each. There are many customizable Corporate Gifts that can be an ideal choice to give to someone who is retiring after a long career, and a local Print shop will have lots of ideas to offer.
This fond farewell to Conlogue has been scheduled for May 10. The doors of the event will open at 6:00 pm
