Saco Main Street will be holding its annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival next month for the 19th consecutive year.
A family-friendly event that is always a favorite in the town, the event is designed to be a celebration of fall and offers free fun activities for children of all ages. Local businesses are encouraged to promote themselves in their booths along historic Main Street, which is the location of the festival. This is also an ideal opportunity for businesses to use Promotional Products to advertise and publicize their products and services.
The festival will feature bed races, pumpkins, a dunk tank, rock paper scissors, and many other activities from last year, as well as a few new surprise attractions – these include the wheelbarrow relay and Trunk or Treat. Sponsors of the event include the Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution, Funtown Splashtown, Prime Automotive, Atlantic Heights, and Love Your Brain.
Saco Main Street is a non-profit organization. The Maine Downtown Center has designated Saco as a Main Street Maine Community. Its mission to enhance the vitality of the downtown area to make Saco a great place to live and work. The organization employs design and preservation, promotions and marketing, and economic development to improve and revitalize the community.
The festival will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
