The new Annapolis Regional Library is taking shape with demolition of the current facility set for spring of 2018. As residents await the opening, details of what the new library will offer are surfacing.
The new facility is expected to be bigger and better than the existing size, with more than double the space. The facility will house meeting rooms that can be used by local businesses and individuals. There will be a teen zone and the library will increase the children’s area, ensuring younger visitors are not left out.
Libraries can always use community support and local businesses could assist with donations to allow them to advertise the new facility with Flyers and Brochures promoting events, and even Direct Mail printing to notify residents of new features.
The facility will also include an outdoor space and a vending café. Comfortable sitting areas will top off the space, allowing those using the facility an area to relax. A tech zone and quiet room will also be part of the new facility and will include work areas for small groups.
Anne Arundel County Public Library (AACPL) officials announced the new facility is expected to open at the end of 2019. Residents can visit the library’s website to obtain information on the current proposed site design and landscape plan. Progress on the effort will available on the City of Annapolis Planning and Zoning website.Get a Free Quote for Direct Mail Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Brochures
