Maryland arts venue reveals February schedule

The Maryland Hall for Creative Arts in Annapolis has several programs scheduled for winter, with music, opera, and theater programs on the agenda.

On February 1 at 7:00 pm, the United States Navy Concert Band will perform with marches, patriotic songs, and wind ensemble selections.

Arlo Guthrie ‘Alice’s Restaurant’ tour will be on stage February 10 at 8:00 pm. Guthrie and singer/songwriter Sarah Lee Guthrie will perform along with other members of the group. They will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the film from which the tour takes its name.

The musical ‘Kiss Me Kate’ will be the offering on February 15 and 16, at 8:00 pm each night. The Annapolis Chamber Orchestra performs with a talented group of singers and actors. In this case, the show is a romantic comedy about the production of a play and the performers on stage.

On February 22 at 7:30 pm, February 23 at 7:00 pm, and February 24 at 2:00 pm, theatergoers can enjoy Snow White courtesy of the Ballet Theater of Maryland. This ballet will have magic and suspense in its retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairytale.
