Charity fundraiser for pets returns for fifth year

The Annual Pints for Paws Homebrewing and Craft Beer Festival has returned again this year to Annapolis. The fundraiser is held to raise funds for the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

While food trucks and vendors prepare for the event by stocking up supplies, and possibly using Print shops to obtain Business Cards and banner printing services, the beer companies will be busy deciding which of the homebrew samples they would like the attendees to savor.

The purchase of a ticket also includes a special pint glass that can be used to try a over three dozen home brews and local craft beers. Food trucks will be on hand and will have items available for sale for those that want to enjoy a meal or snack along with their beer samples.

Owners can bring their dogs to the festival as long as they are on a leash. The SPCA will have its mobile unit on site and can provide information about the organization. It will also have animals on site that are available for adoption.

A children’s area will be available for kids who are in attendance, and was donated by the Children’s Theatre of Annapolis.

The event will be held this Saturday, June 15 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 550 Taylor Avenue. Tickets can be purchased for $35 and children are free if accompanied by an adult. Designated driver tickets are available for $10.
