This spring, a new branch of the Anne Arundel County Public Library opens, while the main branch is being rebuilt.
It will be located in the West Annapolis Mall and will be the first branch to be within it. The main branch of the library will be rebuilt in 2018 and 2019.
The branch of the mall, called ‘Discoveries’, is scheduled to open its doors on April 30th. It will have Books for adults, teens, and children.
The library services will have Wi-Fi, a children’s Discovery Dock, self-checkout, DVDs, a 3D printer, and programs for children.
It will be easy to register for a library card at the mall, which is the first branch of its kind in Central Maryland. The project is funded by the Anne Arundel County Public Library Foundation and Westfield Annapolis.
The library will be part of a 3,000 sq. ft. storefront of the mall, and located near to Crate and Barrel.
The hours of the branch library at the mall are Monday to Thursday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
District General Manager of Westfield Annapolis Mall, Matt Barry, said that the mall will provide an extra amenity to customers.
Annapolis has several printing companies that can assist businesses, retail stores, restaurants, clubs, and associations with Direct Mail printing and other services.
