Arts event to attract visitors near and far

The First Sunday Arts Festival in Annapolis draws hundreds of visitors each month. The events are held monthly from May through December, however it is likely that this month’s event will draw more visitors, as many locals will have family and friends in town for July 4

activities.

The Festival features something for everyone and will have a variety of family-friendly events. Posters, Banners, tents, and vendors line the streets along the festival, greeting those attending with their crafts, talents, and cuisine.

Entertainment during the festival includes singers, dancers, theatre, and a variety of street performers. The music and shows are likely to inspire attendees to stop and listen or watch as locals display their talents. Food and refreshments will be available as well at local cafés and food trucks.

Local artists and craftsmen will also be in attendance, with well over 100 vendors on hand to promote and sell their wares. It is likely attendees will use the opportunity to purchase unique items directly from the artists. Attendees should pick up the vendors’ Brochures and Flyers for future shopping needs as well.

The event is free and parking is available nearby at the Whitmore Garage on the corner of Calvert and Clay Streets. July’s event is held from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 3, in Downtown Annapolis at the intersection of West and Calvert Streets.
