Artists of Anne Arundel County, which is home to the city of Annapolis, have the chance to have their work displayed in a variety of events throughout the year through the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County. The upcoming exhibit in its What’s Up? Media series is entitled ‘Humans’.
The Arts Council has several opportunities throughout the year for local artists to participate in events. Recently on display at BWI was an exhibit that presented Maryland history. Local artists created a variety of art in genres like canvas, acrylic, watercolor, photographs, pastels, and oil.
These displays provide artists an opportunity to present their work for all to see and, at the same time, they could take advantage of the honor by working with a local Print company to obtain updated custom items and Brochures to share their achievements with potential clients.
Current displays include the BWI Exhibit 20: Man & Machine, which is available until mid-September. Ending much sooner is the Media Exhibit 2: Maryland Heritage: East of the Bay Bridge display, located at 201 Defense Highway in Annapolis and on display until Friday, July 14.
Artists wishing to participate in the Media Exhibit 3: Humans display, must submit their entries via the Art Council of Ann Arundel County website by July 27. The Art Council encourages artists of all types to participate in these opportunities to have their art displayed in the busy Thurgood-Marshall Baltimore-Washington International Airport, as it is an opportunity for people around the world to purchase or view their artwork.
