Schooner Woodwind, an Annapolis company that provides sailing tours, has announced several April events that are open to the public.
The opening weekend for Schooner Woodwind is April 13 and 14. Those wishing to sail on the 74-foot sailboat can pitch in to help sail the boat or just sit back and relax. There is no minimum required number of people on weekend cruises, however weekday cruises require a minimum of 12 people.
The weekday cruises are great for team building events for businesses and corporations. These types of events enable those working together to enjoy some out-of-office time and often create memorable moments that businesses can use as ideas for Promotional Products or Corporate Gifts.
On Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, Schooner Woodwind will host Sailor’s Delight, which is an evening cocktail party cruise. The evening includes cocktails, beer and wine, and appetizers. The cruise will accommodate a maximum of 35 guests, and runs 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Lighthouses of Chesapeake Bay will be the topic of the sailing cruise on Sunday, April 28. Guests will enjoy a tour of up to three lighthouses and will be provided with information on their history. This cruise offers a box lunch, snacks, and soft drinks, and guests can also purchase beer or wine if they wish. This cruise last four hours and runs from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
