This Fourth of July, an Annapolis waterfront hotel will serve as the departure point for a cruise that will offer views of the cityscape at dusk and the fireworks to follow.
The crew at Schooner Woodwind, which offers wind-powered cruises, will be hosting its annual Fireworks Cruise, which will provide a special way to celebrate the 4th. There is room on board for up to 30 guests, and tickets for the sail are $142.60 each.
Passengers of the boat will be treated to views of the city’s skyline and sunset, and it will then anchor itself to the fireworks barge so the guests can take in the show. They will be served bottled water as well as soft drinks and packaged desserts, and beer and wine may be purchased on board. As there is only a limited number of seats available, the function is expected to sell out quickly.
