Annapolis kids camp set to bring the fun

Summer has arrived in Annapolis, and that means many of its families are looking for some warm weather fun for their son or daughter. A local day camp option may just fit the bill.

Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks has organized a schedule for summer day camps, and each week will give kids a chance to get out and explore the world around them. They will take part in an assortment of activities, and while they do, they will be able to make new friends.

Each of the camps will be able to accommodate up to 10 youngsters, and they will be geared for kids from ages nine to twelve. The campers will visit local parks, go fishing, try canoeing, and even go for a dip at an area beach, and transportation to each site will be supplied by county employees. Parents or caregivers who have questions about the program are asked to call 410-222-3405.

Offering families a chance to register their son or daughter for this sort of activity is one way a community can support local families. Stationery printers will be able to prepare registration and liability Forms, as well as any other business documents the organizers require to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.

The Park Passport Adventure Camp will be bringing the fun to Annapolis from August 9 to 13. Parents are asked to drop off their child at 1 Harry S. Truman Parkway on each day of the event.
