An Annapolis floral designer will be sharing some of the tricks of the trade during an upcoming learning opportunity.
Something’s Blooming Annapolis will be hosting a hands-on workshop that will introduce some of the basic skills used in flower arranging. The participants will each prepare a fall themed display, which may be used as Thanksgiving table centerpieces or in another autumnal display.
In what is billed as a girls’ night out, the registrants will be using an assortment of seasonal flowers, greenery, and other elements to craft an arrangement, and they will be able to add their own creative touches to the piece. At the end of the session, they will take their masterpiece home with them, and they will also discover how to care for it so that it keeps on looking great for as long as possible. A special cocktail will be served, and Covid-19 prevention measures will be in place.
