Those expecting a bundle of joy may want to be part of a series of classes that will help them prepare for birth and beyond.
The three-session-long Birth Class series will begin in early May, and it will run on dates throughout the rest of the month. It is intended for the pregnant woman and her partner, and each ticket covers both people.
The classes will cover a variety of tips, and the goal is for the attendees to walk away feeling knowledgeable and well prepared for their own individual birth experience. Birthing techniques, pain control, comforting measures, and cesarean sections will all be discussed, and the postpartum period is also on the agenda. The participants will learn what to expect from their newborn, and a review of transitional care will round out the activity.
A prenatal class or parenting workshop gives those who take part both knowledge and practical skills they will be able to draw on. A brochure printing company can be called on to prepare a variety of learning materials for an educational activity
This three-week birthing class series is scheduled to open on Thursday, May 9, and it will also be held on the next two Thursdays, May 16 and 23. Each session will run from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at 2000 Medical Parkway in Annapolis’s AAMC Belcher Pavilion.
